Ethical research is part of a technical communicator's job. In order to conduct research that involves human subjects at a university, paperwork to the University's Internal Review Board (IRB) needs to be submitted because they need to determine if the research protocol is ethical.

These documents show my research protocols for my dissertation and conference research.

HRP 255 is a required UCF form in which the researcher must state the purpose, population sample and recruitment, storage of data protocols, and methodology for the study. This document was for my dissertation research for my PhD.
